For our client operating in the field of industrial and enterprise automation, we are looking for a Network Application Developer and Tester. The role involves identifying and fixing bugs in an embedded network communication application written in C and designing and implementing intelligent automated functional tests in Python.
Start date: no later than 1 October 2026

Job responsibilities
• Identifying and fixing bugs in an embedded network communication application written in C.
• Designing and implementing intelligent automated functional tests in Python.
Must have skills
• Practical knowledge of C or C++.
• Knowledge of Python, ideally Python 3.
• Ability to quickly understand the existing codebase and navigate it.
• Experience with debugging tools and the ability to identify and resolve software defects.
• Good command of English and willingness to communicate with international teams.
• Willingness to continuously learn and improve your skills.
Nice to have skills
• Experience with embedded software development and code size optimization.
• Experience with cross-platform development, at least for Windows and Linux.
• Experience with an embedded RTOS.
• Knowledge of CMake, Git and UML.
• Experience with agile software development.
• Knowledge of network communication, including the ISO/OSI model and the BSD sockets API.
• Knowledge of network protocols across the ISO/OSI model, such as Ethernet,
ARP, IP, BOOTP/DHCP, TCP, UDP, TLS, DTLS, DNS and Syslog.
• Experience with embedded platforms, such as Raspberry Pi, BeagleBoard or similar devices.
